Young Adult Genre

I am currently reading two Young Adult genre books. I could not put one of them down last night. I read until just after midnight and had to force myself to stop.

I've said before that I'll read anything as long as the writing and the story are good. If it pulls me in, I will devour it. Asking me what genre I favor is like asking me what music is my favorite.

Do you read YA books? Do you have a favorite?

Just read "Coraline" by Neil Gaiman. You can read my review here. This is an excellent example of the YA genre. In fact my daughter asked me why I was reading it because some of her friends had been carrying it around. Very good book.

Also read his book's "The Wolves in the Walls" and "The Day I Traded My Dad For Two Gold Fish", but those are more children's books than young adult. They are really fun though, so they will appeal to young adult and adult readers also.
